Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations has arranged a global poster contest for children and youth to celebrate World Food Day 2019 on October 16. The theme of this year’s contest is ‘Healthy Diet for a #ZeroHunger World’.
In 2018, 2 Bangladeshi students won prizes in FAO’s World Food Day poster competition and was recognized at the Nutrition Olympiad 2019.

Bangladesh Institute of ICT in Development (BIID) is inviting members of 5-19 years of age, from Nutrition Club and other children & youth in Bangladesh to present their idea and opinion on Zero Hunger through their art. The posters will focus on,
1. How healthy diet can play a role on creating Zero Hunger world
2. What needs to be done to make healthy diets available for everyone and
3. How each of one us can improve our diets.

BIID will submit the poster online on behalf of the participants for the judging panel. The 3 winners, from each category, will be announced by December 2019. Winners will receive a certificate and exciting gifts. Winners from Bangladesh will be recognized at the Nutrition Olympiad 2020, alongside being promoted on FAO & BIID website and all relevant social media.
